If Astral was about landing in the serene night of Miami, Invective is about heading straight into Miami traffic in a rented car. The density of it hits you like a two-by-four across the bridge of the nose. That intro riff is exactly what it feels like to sit in a rental car, and go straight into the traffic in Miami. You figure it out after a while but for the first couple of minutes it's total chaos. That's why it's called 'Invective' - meaning 'insult'. Doesn't hurt in the search results of djent fans either ;)

This song was probably the most fun to write, and contains the heaviest riffs and most aggressive sound. It also features some of my good friends on guest solos, namely Andreas Söderin from Seventh Wonder, Emil Pohjalainen from Amberian Dawn, Alistair Bell from Aeon Zen and Pekka Laitinen from Nibiru Ordeal.
